Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking an Assistant Manager for a renowned dining outlet within Banff National Park. The role focuses on leading F&B operations, enhancing guest experiences, and driving service excellence.

You will supervise daily service, support recruitment and training, help develop menus and wine lists, and ensure high standards of ambience, cleanliness and service flow across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous F&B leadership experience required.
• Working knowledge of POS systems (ideally Micros) and Microsoft Office.
• Possession of a degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred.

• Lead the team in daily operations, ensuring service standards and safety are upheld.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and developing team members to maximize performance and satisfaction.

The Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager for one of our iconic dining outlets. This position will suit an ambitious individual who is looking to grow in our hotel F&B operations, and lead our restaurants into becoming the dining destination of choice. Job Duties Include

• Provide professional, friendly service and maintain effective communication with guests and colleagues.
• Lead the team in daily operations, ensuring service standards and safety are upheld.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and developing team members to maximize performance and satisfaction.

• Assist with the development of menus, wine lists, service delivery and standards of F&B operations
• Ensure that the outlet maintains a first class, positive visual impact including ambience, cleanliness, décor, and service flow.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of point of sale systems (ideally Micros), and Microsoft Office
• Possession of a degree or diploma in a related discipline preferred
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift
