Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is seeking a Host to welcome guests and ensure a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure. You will coordinate seating, assist with special requests and maintain smooth service flow while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and safety.

The role is permanent, pays $19.94/hour with benefits and onsite staff accommodation. Availability for holidays and weekends may be required; start date August 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months food and beverage experience.
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Proficient with POS systems (OpenTable & Silverware).

• Provide warm greeting and welcome all guests to the restaurant.
• Obtain dining information from guests, such as dietary requirements or special occasions.
• Coordinate the dining room's seating arrangements by planning ahead and anticipating fluctuations in business.
• Seat guests in an organized fashion to maintain service flows for the Servers.

Job Description

Join our team as a Host at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and be the welcoming face of our dining experience. Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring their visit is memorable from start to finish. In this role, you'll coordinate seating, assist with special requests, and maintain a smooth and efficient flow in the restaurant, all while upholding the highest standards of service and safety.

Job Duties Include
