Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking an assistant store leader in Ottawa to coach a team of specialists and drive an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead and develop a retail team across East/West Ottawa areas, with the opportunity to be permanently placed in a store location and must be able to commute to multiple sites. Competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities await.

You’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for an assistant retail manager, which we call an assistant store leader. As an assistant retail manager, you will lead and coach a team of specialists and work together to create an amazing customer experience.

We ask that you are flexible to travel the following locations: Ottawa, covering stores in East, West, Kanata, Orleans, and Barrhaven. The successful candidate will be assigned a permanent assistant store leader position in one of these locations.

What You’ll Do As An Assistant Retail Manager

• Motivate and inspire your team to create an amazing customer experience
• Cultivate an inclusive team and learning culture while having fun!
• Oversee store KPI's (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, health & safety, labor management)
• Maintain a healthy profit and loss

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience leading a retail team of at least 20 associates
• 2+ years’ experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment
• In this role you may be placed permanently in any of our store locations in Ottawa, covering stores in East, West, Kanata, Orleans, and Barrhaven area and ability to commute to those locations is required

Annualized Compensation Range

$52,000.00 - $66,000.00

This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
