Job summary

Best Buy Canada is hiring an assistant store leader responsible for leading a team of specialists and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role may be based in Vernon, Ontario, with travel to Ottawa-area stores (East, West, Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven) as assignments require.

The successful candidate will be assigned permanently to one of the Ottawa-area locations and will commute as needed. You will oversee KPIs, manage expenses, and drive sales growth in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience leading a retail team of at least 20 associates
• 2+ years’ experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment
• In this role you may be placed permanently in Ottawa stores and must be able to commute to East, West, Kanata, Orleans, and Barrhaven locations

We ask that you are flexible to travel the following locations: Ottawa, covering stores in East, West, Kanata, Orleans, and Barrhaven.The successful candidate will be assigned a permanent assistant store leader position in one of these locations.
