Assistant Property Manager

Our client is a long-established real estate property and asset management firm that services private investors and oversees a diversified portfolio of commercial and residential properties across the GTA. This individual will play a vital role in tenant relations, maintenance coordination, leasing support, and property operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for tenants and superintendents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Assist with maintenance coordination, vendor access, and on-site oversight of repair work.
  • Support leasing activities including scheduling tours and coordinating move-ins/outs.
  • Ensure tenant compliance with lease agreements and distribute notices/invoices when needed.
  • Help prepare quarterly property reports and assist with budgeting processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease files, expiry reports, tenant contacts, and receivables.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in property management or a coordinator/administrative role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a small, dynamic team environment.
