Job summary

LensCrafters in Vancouver is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager and act as a business owner within the marketplace. You will drive key metrics, coach the team, and ensure outstanding customer care.

You will work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, manage operations, support visual standards, and collaborate with doctors to maintain a high standard of care and sales. Minimum 1+ year in leadership in retail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers & calculators.
• Must have strong command of English for written and oral communication.
• Proven selling skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to exceed KPIs: comp sales, sales to plan, conversion, customer count, and store profitability.
• Translates retail knowledge into positive sales and market insight.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
• Partners with store manager to lead and develop the team.
• Delivers actionable feedback and collaborates on development with the Store Manager.
• Maintains store appearance and visual directives; complies with policies.
• Performs administrative duties and works a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
