Keethanow Group, La Ronge, is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Keethanow Food Supermarket to lead day-to-day operations and drive sales. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee staffing, inventory, training, and customer relations while ensuring safety and profitability.

The role requires at least five years of multi-purpose retail management, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with POS systems; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ multi-purpose management experience with strong emphasis on retail management (food and non-food).
• Knowledge of and experience in a computerized environment, including the operation and administration of a Point of Sale (POS) computer system.
• Strong financial management skills including the ability to review and analyze financial statements.
• Ability to efficiently manage inventory levels, order stock, and price products to achieve gross margin targets.
• Excellent people management skills including the ability to recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, discipline, develop and increase staff performance in a cross-cultural environment.
• Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector check.
• Must possess a valid class 5 drivers’ license.

Assistant Manager

Working in close co-operation with the KGB General manager, the KGB Store Manager will provide management leadership in the short- and long-term planning of KGB to successfully meet its stated mission and objectives.
