Job summary

The Keethanow Group of Businesses is seeking a full-time Sales Associate for the Keethanow Lumber & Furniture in La Ronge, SK. You will greet customers, communicate effectively with staff and patrons, and assist shoppers with product selections to create positive shopping experiences.

Responsibilities include processing returns and exchanges, handling payments, keeping displays neat, and delivering friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
• Able to work flexible shifts
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Multi-tasking customers & situations time to time
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
• Able to work well under pressure and busy customer atmosphere occasionally
• Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
• Preference given to Aboriginal people who possess the requisite skill sets and experience

Sales Associate

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following:

• Greet customers entering the establishment/being friendly


• Be able to communicate effectively with customers and staff members


• Assist / listen to customers


• Process / inspect merchandise returns and exchanges


• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards


• Reliable team player who follows through
