The role requires 1–3 years in asphalt or heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of drawings, scheduling, and cost control, and proficiency with MS Office and project management software.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in asphalt or heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, scheduling, and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in both office and active job site environments.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of asphalt construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and team to meet objectives.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates.
• Prepare project documentation including minutes and reports.
• Support budgeting and cost control efforts.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Foster effective communication with clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain project files and assist risk management.
