Job summary

Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited in Eastern Ontario seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects in the General Contracting division, coordinating design, budget and schedule with Owners, consultants and trades.

You will lead project meetings, manage cost control and cash flow, mentor staff, and participate in business development while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in ICI or Condo/Apartment building.
• Knowledge of CCDC Contracts and Construction Law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion with design, coordination, budget and schedule alignment with stakeholders.
• Prepare regular billings for Owners and ensure timely payment to subs.
• Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with Owners and consultants.
• Monitor costs, forecasts and cash flow to stay in line with estimates.
• Engage stakeholders to align goals and corporate interests; contribute to business development.
• Mentor and train internal staff; maintain up-to-date project information in Autodesk Build and MS Project.
