Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking an ASIC Engineer to define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify and document IP development for high-performance, low-power products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to map the execution path.

You'll evaluate PCIe, Ethernet, UCIe and SerDes, bring up silicon, debug issues, and generate validation reports while developing test methodologies and scripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum required.
• Strong knowledge of PCIe, IEEE 100G CK, UCIe.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++ and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Characterize analog blocks and verify compliance against PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIe.
• Bring up silicon, debug issues, and generate validation reports.
• Define validation plans and develop test methodologies.
• Develop test scripts for validation and regression tests and optimize firmware revisions.
• Study signal integrity and power integrity on evaluation boards and silicon.
