Job summary

Circle Craft Co-operative on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC, seeks a Sales Leader-Key Holder to support the Store Manager in guiding the sales team and achieving sales targets through enthusiastic customer service.

The role requires flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; prior supervisory experience, English fluency, and merchandising know-how are valued as the store welcomes arts and culture from its member artists.

Qualifications

• Previous store retail supervisor experience is a must, minimum 1 year.
• Experience working with sales targets is a must.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the sales team.
• Flexibility with scheduling: we are open seven days a week.
• Merchandising experience is an asset.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Passion for arts and culture, including learning about our artists' styles, is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the sales team to meet targets with enthusiastic service.
• Greet and engage customers to translate into sales.
• Provide knowledgeable product information about store items.
• Ensure consistent customer focus and engagement.
• Process sales at the POS.
• Wrap and package purchases efficiently.
• Open and close the store procedures.
• Supervise sales and ensure security and objectives.
• Support training of new sales staff.
• Assist with errands and participate in inventory counts.
