Reporting to the Supervisor of Arena Operations, the Aquatics & Fitness Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation and maintenance of municipal aquatic and fitness facilities. The successful candidate will maintain indoor and outdoor pools, water park facilities, fitness facilities, mechanical systems, water chemistry, filtration systems, and related equipment to ensure facilities remain safe, operational, and compliant with applicable regulations. The role includes troubleshooting mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and chemical feed systems, performing seasonal facility opening and closing procedures, monitoring water quality, and ensuring the highest standards of service for the public. The Aquatics & Fitness Operator also provides guidance and direction to contractors, provides information to leadership for responses to inquiries from patrons, staff, and external stakeholders.
As a condition of employment, proof of current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications will be required.
