Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager II to lead a team of hourly associates at a fulfillment center in Canada (Ontario, St. Thomas). You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery, mentor staff, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Responsibilities include planning, coaching through challenges, and using data-driven decisions to balance priorities across multiple workflows that impact millions of customer orders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequent physical activity as described.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
