Bee-Clean Building Maintenance, Canada’s largest Canadian-owned janitorial company, is seeking a North Bay Area Manager to join our Sudbury branch team.

Position Title: Area Manager – North Bay & Surrounding Areas

Reports to: Regional Manager, NE Ontario

Job Summary

This role requires a high level of trust and responsibility, ensuring contractual obligations are met while exceeding customer expectations. Acting as a liaison between clients and the regional office, the Area Manager receives and oversees work order requests, ensuring timely completion.

This position also involves managing daily operations across multiple sites, including:

• Ordering supplies within budget
• Submitting timesheets to payroll
• Providing billing details to Accounts Receivable
• Conducting regular client meetings
• Performing quality assurance inspections
• Overseeing health & safety compliance, workplace incidents, and disciplinary actions
• Attending monthly health & safety meetings and leading training sessions
  
  

A company vehicle and business equipment (laptop, cellphone, etc.) will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with standards
• Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff activities
• Assign tasks based on workload and materials
• Recommend hiring and staffing changes as needed
• Resolve personnel and operational challenges
• Review, approve, and submit timesheets to payroll
• Order supplies within budget guidelines
• Ensure extra services and supplies are billed appropriately
• Hire and train new employees
• Lead monthly health & safety training
• Maintain confidentiality to protect company information
• Other duties as assigned
