A Canadian architecture product distributor is seeking a Salesperson to boost specification sales among architects and designers across Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction sales or experience selling to the A&D community, complemented by business development skills. The role requires managing existing accounts and generating new business while visiting the Markham office two times a week. This position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, totaling over $150K OTE.

LOCATION: GTA/Toronto/Markham

Our client is an established Canadian distributor of architectural products and they are on the hunt for a Salesperson to drive specification sales among the A&D community (architects and designers) across Ontario for a variety of commercial projects including corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, conference centres, etc.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EITHER A CONSTRUCTION SALES BACKGROUND OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE SELLING TO THE A&D COMMUNITY WITH A STRONG BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SKILLSET.

This is an outside sales position but will also have a tie to the local sales office in Markham – need to be comfortable visiting the Markham office on average 2 times/week.

This role will manage existing accounts/customer relationships plus drive net new business.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of sales experience (preferably of a related product with experience selling to similar customers)
• Relationship-based sales style
• Entrepreneurial spirit who can work autonomously and independently
• Highly intrinsically motivated
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract

Compensation:

Base salary plus uncapped commission = 150K+ OTE
