$75,000–$90,000 Salary Range

About the Studio

This firm is a design-forward studio based in beautiful Victoria, BC, known for thoughtful, human-centered architecture across the Pacific Northwest. From modern custom homes to adaptive reuse of heritage buildings, this team turns good bones into great spaces - balancing design excellence with environmental and community impact.

Whether it’s a mid-rise multifamily project or a transformed retail interior, their work reflects a deep respect for context, craft, and collaboration.

Why You’ll Want This Role

If you're an Intern Architect or Architect with 4–7 years of experience and ready to grow in a design-focused, mentorship-rich environment - this is your shot.

Here’s why it stands out:

  • You won’t be stuck in one project type or one phase, every day brings variety

  • You’ll help shape real buildings, not just details behind the curtain

  • You’ll work side-by-side with a principal who actually invests in your development

  • You’ll get the flexibility of hybrid work and the creativity of a close-knit studio

What You’ll Be Doing

Design Development – Create original, thoughtful design concepts and visually compelling presentation materials
Documentation & Permits – Prepare working drawings and coordinate rezoning, DP, and BP submissions
Coordination – Collaborate with consultants, clients, and contractors through all phases of a project
Construction Support – Maintain design integrity through CD and CA phases, with site visits and contractor check-ins
Feasibility & Planning – Assist with early-stage project planning and design strategy

What You Bring
  • AIBC registration or eligibility

  • 4–7 years of experience in an architectural studio

  • Strong design and visualization skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office

  • Experience with working drawings, permit submissions, and wood-frame/mid-rise multifamily

  • Familiarity with BCBC and local bylaws

  • Organized, proactive, and ready to own your role

What They Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience

  • A mix of custom residential, commercial, and multifamily projects

  • A mentorship-focused studio where your ideas matter

  • Hybrid flexibility and a relaxed, creative culture

  • Long-term career growth in a supportive, design-driven environment
