Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is seeking an Apprentice Technician for Barrie Volkswagen in Barrie, Ontario. The role focuses on learning and supporting general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs within a leading automotive group.

Qualifications

• General Service Department experience an asset.

• Valid Ontario Driver's License with 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist the Automotive Service Technician, as necessary
• Examine the vehicle assigned to determine if additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended
• Road test vehicles, as required
• Restock the supplies in the Service Department
• Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests
• Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins
