Job summary

C & C Equipment (C4) in Tisdale, SK seeks an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. You will assist senior mechanics with inspection, repair and maintenance of heavy‑duty trucks and equipment in a busy shop.

The role requires a second or third year in an apprenticeship and a strong mechanical aptitude. You will work under safety guidelines and contribute to keeping our customers' equipment on the road.

Qualifications

• Must be currently in 2nd or 3rd year of an apprenticeship as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use diagnostic software
• Professional customer service approach and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Assist senior mechanics with inspection, repair and maintenance activities
• Perform routine tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Maintain order, cleanliness and safe working conditions in all work areas
