  • Willingness to attend training and pursue certification in heavy-duty mechanics.
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced mechanics with routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of heavy trucks and construction equipment.
  • Learn to perform preventative maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tool and parts inventory management.
  • Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures in the shop and on job sites.
  • Participate in technical training and education to develop mechanical skills and trade knowledge.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting mechanical problems and repairing equipment under supervision.
