Job summary

Atlas Appliances is seeking a talented Appliance Service Technician to join our Calgary team. You will install, maintain, and repair home appliances and related equipment, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.

As a key member, you will also identify opportunities to grow our business by suggesting additional work and providing accurate cost estimates. A valid driver's license and physical stamina are required for this field role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Comfort with tablet-based technology and field work.

Responsibilities

• Install home appliances/equipment.
• Diagnose and repair appliances in the customer's home.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment from customers for work performed.
• Perform other duties as needed including cross-training in related positions.

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
