Impact Recruitment is partnering with a leading real estate and construction firm based in downtown Vancouver to find an Accounts Payable Coordinator. About the Client

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, our client has continued to dominate the real estate and construction industry for the past 50 years! One of the most recognizable names with a deep and diverse portfolio of projects that include mixed-use masterplans, condos, commercial, and industrial developments.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this position plays a key role in processing a high volume of payables accurately and efficiently, while supporting daily AP operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process vendor payments including invoices, cheques, EFTs, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.
  2. Accurately enter invoices into the ERP system and match them against purchase orders or commitments for correct cost allocation.
  3. Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely payments in line with vendor terms.
  4. Investigate and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
  5. Review and process employee expense claims, verifying approvals and documentation are in place.
  6. Ensure all processed payments comply with internal policies and approval protocols.
  7. Liaise with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries and maintain good relationships.
  8. Assist with account reconciliations and vendor statements.
  9. Maintain up-to-date vendor records in the ERP system.
  10. Contribute to finance team initiatives and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  3. Previous exposure to real estate or property development is an asset.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  5. Experience with ERP systems, ideally Acumatica, is preferred.
  6. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  8. Excellent communication skills and a focus on service-oriented problem solving.
  9. Proactive approach to process improvement and adaptability to change.
Compensation:
  1. Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
