Job summary

Lakeridge Health Oshawa is seeking an Anesthesia Assistant to join the Surgical Program in a Regular Full-Time position. You will work with the Anesthesiologist and multidisciplinary team, providing anesthesia and critical care support across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

The role requires a CCAA certification, a valid Anesthesia Assistant Graduate Certificate, and current BLS/ACLS/NRP, with OR experience. Wages range from $53.12 to $64.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant (CCAA).
• Must have completed a recognized Anesthesia Assistant Graduate Certificate.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and critical care support across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Assist the Anesthesiologist and monitor patients.
• Maintain patient charts and participate in emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team within the Surgical Program.
