As aCredit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in evaluating and managing credit applications for RRSP and investment loans, while supporting advisors and clients throughout the process. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, contributing to operational excellence and helping shape the credit function with your insights and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze credit applications for RRSP and investment loans.

  • Approve RRSP loan requests within authorized limits.

  • Communicate credit decisions to advisors.

  • Manage collections for delinquent accounts and transaction errors.

  • Liaise with advisors and clients during the collections process.

  • Provide support to customer service and business lines on credit and collections matters.

  • Train team members on specific tasks and processes.

  • Maintain and update documentation, and create new materials as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of transactional processes and systems in individual savings (an asset).

  • Understanding of credit principles (an asset).

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

  • Comfort working with IT systems.

  • An advanced knowledge of English is required, as the person will need to communicate in both French and English -via email, phone, and videoconference -with internal and external unilingual English-speaking teams on a daily basis.
