Role Title: Analyst, Procurement and Vendor Management

Purpose of role: The Analyst, Procurement and Vendor Management reports to the Senior Manager, Procurement and Vendor Management. The role supports sourcing and non-sourcing functions, including RFx activities, transactional purchasing, vendor relationship management, and third-party risk management. It operates in a consultative manner to facilitate procurement processes and develop strategic partnerships with business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities (e.g., RFx) from intake to execution, including determining sourcing approach, developing RFx, coordinating meetings, and evaluating proposals.
• Assist with licensing requests for software and purchase orders for goods and services.
• Participate in contract negotiations and software renewals with vendors.
• Support third-party risk management by guiding procurement requests through risk assessments and due diligence.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contractual adherence, SLA management, renewals, and issue escalation.
• Coordinate vendor governance and spend analysis reporting.
• Support the corporate travel program and handle inquiries related to it.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and audits.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings.

Key Qualifications

• Education: University or College degree.
• Experience: 0-5 years relevant experience.
• Certifications: Post-secondary education; supply chain or purchasing certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of procurement practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proactive, motivated, and collaborative team player.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
