Qualifications

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for the collection, processing, and auditing of the company’s payroll. The incumbent will liaise with company associates, HR, and Finance on payroll-related matters, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for the collection, processing, and auditing of the company’s payroll. The incumbent will liaise with company associates, HR, and Finance on payroll-related matters, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Process payroll using Ceridian Dayforce payroll system.
  • Monitor time and attendance.
  • Audit payroll output.
  • Analyze and verify the accuracy of associate accruals.
  • Reconcile and resolve payroll GL issues.
  • Audit and reconcile ROE discrepancies.
  • Support store management and office staff on payroll, benefits, and processing issues, including verifying records of employment.
  • Work with vendors and outside government agencies.
  • Assist with system upgrades or modifications.

Some of What You Need:

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion or progress towards PCP from Canadian Payroll Administration.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of provincial pay practice legislation.
  • 2-4 years payroll experience.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset.
