Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team.

Position Description:

• Process payroll transactions related to Overtime (Accrual/Wage Test).
• Perform Payroll Account Reconciliation.
• Prepare and notify Finance staff of payroll amounts for funding the bank.
• Manage Pension Payroll.
• Reconcile and prepare Monthly Pension/RRSP/TFSA Payments to vendors and review any issues with pension/RRSP or TFSA processes.
• Liaise with Mobility and Business Units on International Assignment issues and payroll updates, including monthly reconciliation.
• Assist team members and actively participate in identifying process improvements.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of payroll reports related to T4/RL1 production to assess any required adjustments.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Completion of or pursuit of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, in affiliation with the National Payroll Institute.
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, PeopleSoft, SAP; experience with Dayforce is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills.
