Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is hiring winter seasonal road maintenance workers across Alberta from October 1 to April 30, with potential for year-round employment. You’ll operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment to keep Alberta highways safe, perform labourer duties, and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways including assisting with Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.).
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
