Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Alberta is seeking team-oriented individuals for winter casual road maintenance across the province from October 1 to April 30. Roles involve operating snowplow trucks and loaders, maintaining highways, and on-call work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways and perform Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation).
• Be available for on-call work to assist with weather events, emergencies and staff coverage.
