Job summary

Calm Air is seeking Customer Service Agents to deliver front-line passenger support at airports, before and after flights. You will ensure a positive passenger experience and comply with all regulations and service standards.

Responsibilities include curbside assistance, reservations, check-in, fee calculation, boarding pass issuance, and passenger guidance. Shift work, including mornings, evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is an asset.
• Ability to learn a computerized reservation system.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Office).
• Knowledge of an airline's operations is an asset.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Must have own transportation to and from work.
• Enhanced Security Clearance qualification required.
• Ground School Training attendance/completion needed.
• Preference given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries.
• Inuktitut and/or Inuinnaqtun language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide curbside to curbside customer service at airports.
• Make and change flight reservations in the reservation system.
• Check in passengers and their baggage.
• Calculate and charge applicable fees.
• Issue boarding passes, itineraries and seating assignments.
• Assist pre-boarding passengers to board safely.
