Job summary

Calm Air is seeking Reservations Agents to provide travel assistance, plan itineraries, and manage passenger reservations in our computerized system. You will, as needed, check schedules, fares, and rules, and support stations with payments and passenger manifests.

Responsiveness, accuracy, and courteous service are essential as you handle inquiries by phone and email and assist with passenger re-accommodation when schedules change.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is an asset.
• Knowledge of Amelia Reservation system is an asset.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Office) required.
• Knowledge of airline operations is an asset.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service and exceptional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must have own transportation.
• Must be able to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance.
• Preference given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries.
• Inuktitut language considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Create, check, and make changes to passenger flight reservations.
• Check flight information, fares, and fare rules.
• Assist other stations with reservations, payments and manifests as required.
• Assist with re-accommodation of passengers due to irregular operations or schedule changes as required.
• Assist with tracing missing passenger baggage when required.
• Answer passenger inquiries over the phone and through email.
• Assist Pass Bureau with staff travel bookings and payments as required.
• Other duties as required.
