Job summary

Calm Air is seeking Air Transport Cargo Handlers to operate ramp vehicles, handle cargo and baggage, and support ground services at our facilities. You will ensure cargo reaches its destination safely and on time.

Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; strong reading, writing and communication skills are essential. Ability to lift 50 lbs, valid Class 5F driver's license, and willingness to complete Calm Air training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is an asset.
• Ability to read and write, basic math.
• Ability to communicate clearly (oral and written).
• Must pass Criminal Reference Check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license Class 5F.
• Experience in warehousing, receiving or inventory control is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate ramp‑servicing vehicles and equipment.
• Position passenger loading stairs and operate aircraft cargo doors.
• Marshal or tow aircraft to gate positions for loading/unloading cargo.
• Load, unload and sort passenger baggage and/or freight per security regulations.
• Organize warehouse storage and maintain daily inventory of consignments.
• Provide daily on‑hand reports of cargo shipments.
• Assist customers via email/phone/in person with cargo inquiries.
