Job summary

Clariti Cloud Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer onboarding, data migrations, and integrations for Govtech deployments. You will translate city operations into scalable configurations and write end-to-end tooling.

You’ll work with GIS, payments, and SSO integrations while coordinating with city staff and IT leadership. Travel to customer sites may be required and you’ll help build our FDE playbook.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer, with 2+ in customer deployments like FDE or solutions engineering.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and agentic automations.
• Strong SQL and data-migration instincts with clean audit trails.
• Proficient in TypeScript; Python for extraction tooling.
• Deep integration experience: SSO, REST/webhooks, GIS and payments.
• Comfort presenting to government customers and signing off data mappings.
• Willing to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Govtech/Regtech SaaS experience; familiar with migration legal timelines.
• Experience building first-of-a-kind functions and playbooks.
• Heavy use of AI coding agents in real delivery work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Implementation Consultant to triage requirements into configurations or code.
• Define new functionalities with the SaaS platform team for go-live readiness.
• Own end-to-end customer onboarding: legacy data extraction, mapping, transformation, staging, cutover.
• Translate city workflows into product configuration with officials and clerks.
• Write migration tooling: extraction scripts, integration adapters, and data pipelines.
• Lead customer IT and GIS stakeholders through security reviews and SSO setup.
• Capture feedback to inform tooling and product enhancements.
• Develop an FDE playbook and reusable templates for rapid ramp-ups.
• Leverage AI agents as a core delivery tool in engineering work.
