Job summary

VSG Recruitment partners with a high-growth technology company to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE). This hands-on role embeds with operating teams to understand how businesses generate revenue and where technology can unlock value.

You’ll work directly with GMs and operators to implement AI-powered software, including integrations, prompts, evaluations, and workflows that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Broad software engineering across the stack.
• Experience with TypeScript and/or Python, React, SQL, APIs, integrations.
• Shipping AI-powered applications to production with evaluation and prompting.

Responsibilities

• Embed with operating teams to learn business processes and identify leverage points.
• Identify 2–3 workflows where AI can improve outcomes and deliver measurable impact.
• Develop integrations, prompts, evaluations, workflows, and user-facing features for production deployments.
• Monitor systems, measure outcomes, tune performance, and adjust automation levels.
• Create repeatable playbooks and patterns from successful deployments.
