Job summary

Valtech is seeking a Senior/Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Canada. The role focuses on AI-native software engineering, client-facing leadership, and multi-cloud delivery to translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions.

You will collaborate with enterprise customers, guide architecture and implementation, and champion responsible AI practices while staying hands-on in delivery across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Strong software and systems engineering background.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• AI-native mindset incorporated into development to boost productivity and delivery speed.
• Architecture and systems integration experience across apps, services, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data, enterprise data ecosystems.
• Ability to navigate diverse tech stacks and client requirements to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for customer engagements, aligning business objectives with technology opportunities.
• Define technology roadmaps and drive adoption of AI-native practices.
• Lead cross-functional workshops and design sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor customer engineers and internal teams on modern software practices and AI-native delivery.
• Embed with customer teams to translate business challenges into scalable tech solutions and roadmaps.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to design, build, test, and optimize software across clouds.
