Job summary

BITS IN GLASS (BIG) is seeking a Manager, Delivery Assurance to own live client delivery across a growing portfolio. You will lead engagements, manage escalation, and drive recovery of at-risk programs using AI-enabled reporting.

You will establish gate reviews, synthesize portfolio health, and coach delivery managers while collaborating with client partners to protect margins and ensure successful outcomes for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consulting or project delivery, including program or engagement leadership.
• Turnaround of at-risk client programs with client-facing elements.
• Commercial fluency across fixed-price, T&M, and managed services constructs.
• Credibility with client executive stakeholders and ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Ability to influence without direct authority across peer delivery leaders.
• Demonstrated use of AI tooling to automate delivery reporting or analysis.
• Comfortable carrying a billable target and deploying to engagements of any size.
• Willingness to attribute failure to BIG when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned client engagements across varying size and platform.
• Own delivery outcomes, client relationship health, and engagement margins.
• Mobilize new programs and transition cleanly to steady-state ownership.
• Deliver paid delivery assessments and independent program reviews.
• Act as intake point for delivery escalations and triage or assume ownership as appropriate.
• Lead recovery of engagements entering recovery and define exit criteria.
• Run independent gate reviews at defined checkpoints (mobilization, baseline, SIT, UAT, go-live).
• Maintain a portfolio health view across schedule, margin, scope, quality, and team stability.
• Report portfolio health to Head of Solution Delivery on a fixed cadence.
• Ensure significant engagements carry a named deputy and a continuity plan.
• Leverage AI to automate reporting and analysis and demonstrate time savings.
• Own the delivery playbook, gate criteria, and estimation standards and drive adoption.
• Convert recovery findings into preventive changes to standards and templates.
• Coach delivery managers and program managers; support pre-sales through delivery-approach reviews.
