Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Canada is seeking an AI-Directed Software Engineer to build production-ready software with AI acceleration across the stack, from concepts to deployment, working across backend, frontend, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

You will lead end-to-end delivery, guide AI tools, design scalable architectures on AWS, containers with Docker/Kubernetes, and implement Bedrock-based agents, while ensuring security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong API design and distributed systems fundamentals.
• At least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience building and operating production workloads.
• Knowledge of AWS security, IAM, VPC, and cost optimization.
• Infrastructure as code on AWS (CloudFormation preferred). Familiarity with CDK or Terraform.
• Broad full-stack capabilities across backend, frontend, DB, and deployment config.
• Hands-on containers and Kubernetes, deploying and troubleshooting pods and manifests.
• Experience using AI-powered coding tools to deliver projects.
• Strong code review and debugging skills for AI-generated output.
• Experience designing reliable software systems under real workloads.
• Excellent written communication and instruction skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of software features from requirements to production.
• Direct AI coding tools to generate and refine code across backend, frontend, DB, APIs, infra.
• Break down product requirements into structured tasks for AI systems.
• Review, test, debug, and harden AI-generated code for security and reliability.
• Design and optimize backend services using Java, REST APIs, and related frameworks.
• Design and optimize database schemas and data flows using PostgreSQL.
• Configure, deploy, and operate on AWS with IaC approaches.
• Build and maintain containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop AI-powered Bedrock agents including knowledge bases and guardrails.
• Monitor reliability, guard against failures, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Improve observability, logging, and testing across the stack.
• Promote scalable AI-directed workflows and engineering standards.
