Job summary

Greenlight Consulting seeks an AI Engagement Manager to own client relationships and the commercial cadence across AI and automation engagements. You will oversee discovery, design, and build discussions, while remaining the commercial anchor for value realization.

In this hybrid, client-facing role, you’ll navigate multiple engagements, balance competing priorities, and ensure measurable outcomes. Onshore Canada—with GTA focus—heavy travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in delivery, project management, or client-facing consulting within technology, automation, and AI.
• Experience delivering AI or automation projects and understanding agent workflows.
• Proven track record managing executive and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Background in consulting, managed services, or AI/agentic automation delivery.
• Experience managing scope, change orders, and commercial conversations in professional services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact from kickoff through post-delivery review; the face of the engagement at every stage.
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, business leads, and key stakeholders; read the room and act before risks surface.
• Own scope management and change control; identify creep early and protect margin without harming relationships.
• Lead difficult conversations: resets, delays, and scope disputes—directly, calmly, and without escalation by default.
• Maintain RAID log, delivery schedule, and status reporting to client stakeholders; ensure governance is current and actionable.
• Understand automation logic, AI agent behavior, and integration points well enough to represent them to a client executive.
• Track delivery against the Week 0-to-go-live cadence; ensure readiness and discovery milestones are met.
• Identify risks and drive resolution to keep timelines intact and clients confident.
• Coach the consultant through complex sessions; manage resource capacity and flag risks early.
• Proactively track whether clients realize expected automation value and report KPIs and outcomes.
