Brandt is seeking a Foreman for our John Deere Agriculture service department at the Rocky View location. You will supervise the service team, review work orders, provide quotes, and coordinate technician workflows to meet productivity standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Service Technician or similar role.
• Journeyman certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues on agriculture equipment.
• Ability to lead and coach others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and delegation skills.
• Effective written and spoken communication.
• Basic understanding of financial principles related to service operations.

Responsibilities

• Assigns jobs and work orders to service staff based on skills and knowledge.
• Reviews repair orders for accuracy and progress; participates in repairs if needed.
• Acts as a point of contact for equipment repair inquiries and updates.
• Directs diagnosis of machine problems for technicians and apprentices.
• Inspects and maintains tools; recommends new tooling.
• Communicates with customers about quotes, work orders, and payments.
• Schedules and coordinates technician training and safety meetings.
• Supports Service Advisors with technical questions from customers.
• Ensures safe work practices and tidy work areas.
• May stand in for Service Manager when needed.
• Boles the release of equipment for delivery and performs performance feedback.
