Job summary

Richardson Pioneer, a division of Richardson International, offers a one-year Agribusiness Assistant Development Program designed to expose graduates to major areas within agribusiness and agronomy. ABAs will work across crop inputs, agronomy, grain marketing and operations, gaining hands-on experience and clear career paths in the industry.

ABAs will gain exposure to budgeting, business planning and scheduling while collaborating with teams to support Canadian farmers in a dynamic, nationwide

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma program.
• Interest in a career in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Crop Input Sales or Grain Marketing.
• Strong sense of initiative; organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling and sales.
• Assist with budgeting, business planning and scheduling.
• Support operations across Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centres.
• Collaborate with teams to serve Canadian farmers.

Responsibilities:

The Agribusiness Assistant will gain experience in crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling, customer service, grain grading, grain blending, grain marketing, sales, operations management including exposure to budgeting, business planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma program and interest in working in the agricultural industry
• Interest in a career in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Crop Input Sales or Grain Marketing
• Strong sense of initiative
