Richardson International invites new graduates to join its one-year Agribusiness Assistant development program within Richardson Pioneer. You will gain exposure to agronomy, crop inputs, grain handling and customer service across our Ag Business Centres.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning in grain marketing, operations and budgeting, with mentorship and opportunities for career development at Richardson Pioneer sites across Western Canada.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma program.
• Interest in working in the agricultural industry and in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Crop Input Sales or Grain Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling, customer service, grain grading, grain blending, grain marketing, sales and operations management.
• Exposure to budgeting, business planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities:

The Agribusiness Assistant will gain experience in crop inputs, agronomy, grain handling, customer service, grain grading, grain blending, grain marketing, sales, operations management including exposure to budgeting, business planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Agriculture or Business degree or diploma program and interest in working in the agricultural industry
• Interest in a career in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Crop Input Sales or Grain Marketing
• Strong sense of initiative
• Excellent customer service
• Leadership skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Organised and detail oriented
• A valid driver's licence is required
