Job summary

Prairie Co-op in Melville, SK is seeking a Permanent Full Time Ag Retail Manager to lead the Ag Team, drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across our Melville and Ituna trading area.

You will provide day-to-day direction for the Ag Team while ensuring safety, customer service, and operational objectives are achieved. This role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and program implementation within agricultural sales.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture or equivalent experience.
• P.Ag or CCA is preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Honest, trustworthy and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational direction and oversight of programs and policies.
• Oversee and execute sales strategies and build strong customer relationships.
• Responsible for the sales, marketing and promotion of Crop Inputs, Grain storage, and Handling solutions within the Melville and Ituna trading area.
• Oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
• Provide leadership to the team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training and development of team members and employee engagement.
• Other duties as assigned.

What youll do:
