Job summary

Ingram Micro Canada is seeking an Afternoon Operations Supervisor to lead the outbound warehouse team and ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards. The role involves hands-on leadership, daily task scheduling, and performance coaching in a dynamic environment.

You will oversee a team of hourly associates, monitor KPIs, and help drive continuous improvement while adhering to ISO standards and lean principles. Shift: Mon–Fri, 12:30pm–9:00pm, with shift premium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 3 to 5 years of shift supervisor experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, productivity management, and health and safety practices.
• Lean principles and continuous improvement knowledge is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and supervise activities for assigned team to meet productivity, quality goals, and client objectives.
• Supervise and lead a team of hourly associates directly to ensure KPIs, productivity targets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Assist in implementation of, and adherence to, company objectives, policies and plans.
• Evaluate site operations with respect to quality standards, safety standards, and customer support.
• Communicate effectively with partner, customers, and site associates.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks based on volumes, labour requirements, and operational priorities.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity while providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
