Job summary

Canada Cartage Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Evenings) in Winnipeg, MB. You will lead warehouse staff, manage daily operations, and drive safety, productivity, and inventory accuracy for the assigned account.

You will train and coach staff on WMS systems, collaborate with agencies for temporary labour, monitor KPIs, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining company safety policies. This is a 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday to Friday role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
• High school diploma.
• Experience on counterbalance and end-rider power jacks preferred.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee management and development for warehouse team members.
• Engage employment agency regarding temporary labour.
• Train and coach employees on WMS systems and act as a subject matter expert.
• Work closely with staff on daily warehouse operations for the assigned account.
• Help drive goals, targets, productivity, and performance standards.
• Conduct regular employee reviews and feedback discussions.
• First point of contact for customer concerns and provide exemplary service.
• Ensure KPIs are achieved for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure SOPs and best practices are followed.
• Run operational reports, including labour planning for the team.
• Support inventory accuracy through discrepancy follow-up and warehouse processes.
