The Jean Coutu Group is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Assistant to be the welcoming face for customers, gather data for prescriptions, and assist with dispensing and special tasks in a collaborative team setting.

The role emphasizes empathy, responsibility, and ongoing learning, with opportunities to develop clinical and technical skills in a busy pharmacy environment in Quebec. Fluency in French is essential; basic English is a plus.

Formación

• Hold a Pharmacy Technical Assistant diploma or the Jean Coutu Pharmacy Technical Assistant certification.
• French language: very good knowledge.
• English language: basic knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Be the first contact with customers, making them feel welcome with empathy and professionalism.
• Identify customer needs by collecting data for prescription preparation.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential issues for customers.
• Handle specialized tasks such as dispill management, robot management, and complex lectures.
• Serve as a reference and mentor for fellow pharmacy assistants.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to identify the customer's needs by collecting the necessary data for prescription preparation;
• to prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the customer;
• take on responsibilities related to specialized tasks, such as dispill management, robot management, complex lectures, etc.;
• be a reference for their pharmacy assistant colleagues and act as a mentor.

For this position, you must:

• hold a diploma as a Pharmacy Technical Assistant or hold the Jean Coutu Pharmacy Technical Assistant certification.

Number of hours per week:

• Between 10 hours and 30 hours
• 35 hours or more

French language: Very good knowledge

English language: Basic knowledge

Language Requirement Justification: Regular communication with English-speaking clients/patients and partners
