The Jean Coutu Group in Laval, Quebec is seeking an advanced pharmacy assistant to join a team where empathy, professionalism, and patient care are at the center of daily operations. You will greet customers, determine needs, and assist with prescription preparation in a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mentoring colleagues, and handling specialized tasks such as robot management. French fluency is essential with basic English, and 35 hours or more per week are available.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma as a Pharmacy Technical Assistant or hold the Jean Coutu Pharmacy Technical Assistant certification.
• Ability to identify customer needs and ensure accurate prescription preparation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the customer, ensuring they feel comfortable with empathy and professionalism.
• Identify customer needs by collecting necessary data for prescription preparation.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential issues for the customer.
• Take on responsibilities related to specialized tasks, such as dispill management, robot management, and complex lectures, etc.
