Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking motivated pharmacy students to join its team as a student assistant in our pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists with professional tasks and warmly welcome customers, bringing empathy and professionalism to every interaction.

You will collect data for prescriptions, participate in new clinical projects, host health activity booths, and perform basic laboratory technician duties. French language proficiency is required, and flexible hours support work-life balance.

At our PJC, you can receive financial support, which is available to pharmacy students in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, as well as students completing their pharmacy qualification. The amounts awarded, in the form of loans that can be written off, are intended to provide you with support, but above all, a better quality of life during your university studies.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to actively assist pharmacists in the various professional tasks;
• be the first point of contact with the customers so that they feel comfortable; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• to identify the customers' needs by collecting necessary data for prescription preparation;
• to participate in new clinical projects;
• to host booth during health activities;
• to do the basic work of a laboratory technician.
