Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Beloeil, Quebec invites qualified candidates to join our pharmacy team as a laboratory technician. You will warmly welcome clients, collect required data for prescriptions, and help ensure prescriptions are prepared accurately and safely in a clean, well-organized lab.

We value curiosity, teamwork, and empathy, and we offer training if you lack a pharmacy technician diploma while valuing those who already hold one as an asset.

Qualifications

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy, and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• Make non-sterile preparations;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

Responsibilities
