Job summary

Amica Senior Lifestyles is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator at the Amica Support Office to manage full-cycle payroll and benefits for multiple residences while ensuring accuracy and compliance across provinces.

The role requires 3–5 years Canadian payroll experience, proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, and strong knowledge of provincial employment standards, with a focus on accurate reporting and confidential data handling.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of Canadian payroll experience with strong customer service focus.
• ADP Workforce Now payroll system experience is required.
• Certified Payroll compliance Practitioner (PCP) is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of provincial employment standards and legislation.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required.
• Solid understanding of all payroll processes especially in unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage full cycle of payroll for up to multiple residences in a multi-provincial environment.
• Ensure payrolls and benefits transactions are accurately reported and recorded with compliance.
• Handle year-end reporting, remittances, and ROEs; respond to payroll inquiries.
• Administer employee benefit plans and ensure accurate deductions in ADP.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and prepare standard/complex reports.
• Deal with unionized environments and communicate with government agencies as needed.
