The Administrative Support III provides a variety of administrative activities to support the Chronic Disease Management RNs in the communities of Peace River, High Prairie and Valleyview including booking referrals and scheduling appointments in Connect Care, calling clients, requisitioning, and maintaining supplies and equipment; operating and troubleshooting office equipment; ensuring the integrity of confidential information; and performing other related duties as required. This position provides support to Chronic Disease Management nurses. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, PCA currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Certificate or diploma in Office Administration or equivalent training requiring automated word processing, spreadsheets and databases.Minimum one year related office experience.Excellent typing/word processing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.Proficiency in Connect Care.A combination of experience and education may be considered.
